Yoga Nidra is a guided resting practice designed to help your nervous system downshift, soften tension, and restore energy when life feels heavy. Many people experience it as deeply replenishing, similar to the rest your body might get from several hours of sleep.
This practice is especially supportive if you’re navigating divorce, high-conflict co-parenting, or the emotional fatigue that comes from constantly needing to stay regulated for others. When your mind won’t fully rest, Yoga Nidra gives your body permission to do so.
Set yourself up to be as comfortable as possible. Bring pillows, blankets, fuzzy socks, and anything else that helps you feel held and warm. You’ll be lying down, listening, and doing nothing else.
